Arches on Landis Green

Last night, student teams from the Department of Interior Design's Design Fundamentals II class installed 11 full-scale 'portals' spanning the sidewalks on Landis Green.  Each free standing portal is based on a significant historical design style or current designer. As demonstrated above, students were encouraged to create a non-literal interpretation of their research - to "show the essence of the period using materials at hand."
